Students enrolled in the BEDSHP will be able to continue to re-enrol however consideration should always be given to transferring to the latest course version. *** This course provides graduates with a qualification to teach personal development health and physical education in schools and other educational settings. The education component is practice focused with students undertaking professional experience in schools and other learning sites. Students are also encouraged to undertake field/professional experience in remote schools. External students can normally complete their professional experience in their home towns. Indigenous perspectives are a particular focus. Students can also undertake studies in Indigenous policies and programs as well as examining specific strategies for enhancing educational outcomes for Indigenous learners. Students are encouraged to review the employer eligibility requirements as they can vary state to state.
