About this course

Are you dreaming of a career in health services as a psychologist? This Graduate Entry program will move you in the right direction. This is a foundation course introducing you to the concepts, practices and science of psychology. You will develop your skills and knowledge in human behaviour which includes the fundamental premise of psychology as an empirically based science, social-cultural perspectives, and research methods. You can use this course as a pathway in the Bachelor of Psychological Science Honours program, which prepares you for specialist training and registration.

Entry requirements

Admission Requirements Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree or equivalent together with successful completion of APAC accredited first year psychology units. Students who have completed an APAC accredited undergraduate degree are not eligible for entry. English Language Requirements All HE applicants are required to demonstrate the minimum English language proficiency requirements for their chosen course of study. These entry requirements will normally be met by undertaking previous education in an English speaking country or obtaining a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score. Where applicable, international applicants must also satisfy the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) English language proficiency (ELP) requirements for student visa applications.
