High School Certificate
Chisholm Sports Academy allows senior secondary students to undertake a VCE program that incorporates elite level basketball, netball and AFL football coaching supported by an athletic performance program.
The program is open to both traditional VCE and VCE Vocational Major (replacing VCAL in 2023) students across Chisholm's Berwick, Frankston and Dandenong campuses.
The Chisholm Sports Academy is open to all genders.
The sports development program is tailored for talented and emerging athletes with a passion for basketball, football, netball or soccer.
The VCE component of the program is delivered by VIT registered teachers and is the same qualification as at secondary school. The sporting component is delivered by ex-Olympic basketball, Victorian Netball League, AFL and A-League level coaches and qualified exercise science staff.
Chisholm's sports academy students are fully supported to provide every opportunity to successfully progress with both their academic and physical on field/court performance.
Students can also gain real world industry experience through Chisholm's network of partner organisations including AFL South East, Casey Demons Football Club, Casey Demons VNL, Casey Basketball Association and other sporting organisations.
