Certificate
The Undergraduate Certificate in Medical Science will allow you to develop a broad view of the discipline of medical science and opens up a seamless pathway into CQUni's Bachelor of Medical Science (Specialisation) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Honours) with credit for all four units.
Adapted from CQUni's current allied health degrees, highly regarded by both employers and industry, you will benefit from industry-relevant and innovative units conveniently packaged as a short course.
During the course, you will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human body, and the fundamental principles of chemistry central to all sciences. You will develop crucial lifelong learning skills that will prepare you for successful tertiary study at university.
The course offers you flexibility to study on-campus or online, and either full-time or part-time. Students studying online will attend a four-day residential school at our Rockhampton campus.
Undergraduate certificates are an officially recognised qualification made up of four units from the relevant bachelor degree. This means you can start study now, gain a qualification in as little as six months, and choose whether to continue with your bachelor degree, explore another study option or use your qualification to launch your career.
Commencing new students can take advantage of reduced student contribution fees in 2021 under the Job Ready Graduates Package funding from the Australian Government.
