Students will be well grounded in the principles, theory and practice of general business skills. Key curriculum areas in tourism include consumer behaviour, market analysis, product and services delivery, event management development, communication and strategic planning.
Career readiness is developed as students complete work experience in an organisational environment related to Tourism. Theoretical and conceptual knowledge is applied by students to practical workplace situations, and allows for development of self-awareness and personal and professional competencies necessary for a high level of employability.
