This extended course allows students to complete an additional 60 credit points of advanced or extension studies in one of three majors: Outdoor Education, Educational Nature Tourism or Physical Education.
This course also provides an alternative completion path for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical and Outdoor Education who decide not to complete the full teaching qualification. Graduates from the course are employed by schools, at camps, in outdoor travel and by land management authorities and commercial outdoor companies. Graduates may also go on to the Bachelor of Outdoor Education (Honours), and/or to Masters and Doctoral study. The course is a three and a half year full-time program. It consists of 420 credit points of study.
