Everything around you has been designed. Design thinking skills help organisations establish innovative goods and services and connect to consumers and business partners. Knowledge of the business world enhances the career opportunities of professional designers.
This double degree course will give you the skills to apply design principles in business contexts, or to assist with the business development aspects of design. You will specialise in Communication Design or Industrial Design and add a broad understanding of business, enhanced by expertise in a particular area, such as management, marketing or accounting.

All applicants must satisfy the following prerequisites or their equivalents.Australian VCE subjects
Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in English other than EAL
Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 22 in Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics, or a score of at least 25 in Further Mathematics
At least 4 in English SL or 3 in English HL or 5 in English B SL or 4 in English B HL
At least 4 in Mathematics SL or 3 in Mathematics HL or 3 in Further Mathematics HL or 4 in Math Studies SL
All applicants must satisfy the equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites.
VET Certificate IV, diploma or advanced diploma graduates: To be considered, applicants will normally require at least a 75% to 80% average. Preference will be given to students whose prior studies are related to the course in which they are seeking admission. Programs that involve competency-based assessment without grades or marks will not meet the admission requirements.
