Certificate III in Education Support

The Certificate III in Education Support provides participants with the skills to assist school teaching staff in the care and supervision of a class of students, ranging from kindergarten to year 10.

• Implement planned education programs
• Assist students in their learning and development
• Contribute to the safety and health of students
• Support students with additional needs

Participants will also learn how to work with children and young people at risk of harm, culturally diverse students, families and co-workers, and gain an introductory knowledge into working with children with special needs.

As part of this qualification, participants are required to undertake a supervised work placement in order to apply the skills and knowledge learned.
