The course is designed to expose students to the new ways financial services are being delivered using advanced technologies, big data and the internet and their transformative power in reshaping business models. The course includes the study of how data is collected and used in fintech development and applications and a workshop-type unit for budding entrepreneurs and innovators. The course is practice-oriented with an alignment to the entrepreneurial, innovative and creative forces that are disrupting traditional business models that exist in developed countries and are now pushing developing countries into a richer future.

Entry requirements

  • An Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification, including an overseas qualification),
  • Completion of a Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology Management, or
  • Five years' relevant work experience.
