Students with a completed undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) can receive up to 72cps of credit into this degree as approved by the Discipline Lead.

Students with a completed undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Built Environment, Fine Arts and Environment Science can receive up to 48cps of credit into this degree as approved by the Discipline Lead.

Applications for international students for Semester 1 2024 have closed.

A completed bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in any discipline with a credit or higher average*.

* Applicants without a degree but with a combination of pre-tertiary qualifications and work experience or professional membership (Equivalent Graduate Status) may apply.

Domestic applicants
Applications from domestic applicants will be accepted on a yearly basis from 1 May of the preceding year and close on 31 December of the preceding year. Applicants who are eligible for an offer will be placed on a waitlist and offers will be released in rounds on the first business day of each month commencing in November. Any applicant who is not successful in the round, will remain on a waitlist for further rounds while vacancies exist.

Limited Commonwealth-supported places (CSPs) are available for this course and will be awarded on academic merit. To be considered for a CSP, please submit your application by 1 December 2023. Eligible applicants will be notified from 15 December 2023. The University will continue to issue fee-paying (FEE) offers until this date, offers for any eligible CSP applicants will be updated accordingly.

International applicants
Applications from international applicants will be accepted on a yearly basis from 1 May of the preceding year and close on 15 October of the preceding year. Admission to this course is competitive. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic merit, work experience and the number of available places.

Applicants must:
1. have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.

No Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be offered for any units included in this course.

We recommend that students progressing to this course from the Graduate Certificate in Counselling (SCC401) complete the four Graduate Certificate units before progressing to the Graduate Diploma or Master to ensure a smooth enrolment transition.

Students are required to undergo a National Police check and relevant state-based checks (i.e. Working with Vulnerable People Check, Working With Children Check) as required by each placement agency in order to be accepted for each unit that includes a placement.

Please be advised that Applications closes three (3) weeks before the start of semester and offer must be accepted one (1) week before the start of semester.
Entrants to graduate entry programs have a discipline-specific bachelor or equivalent qualification relevant to the Australian Curriculum or other recognised areas of schooling provision including for primary teaching, at least one year of full-time equivalent study relevant to one or more learning areas of the primary school curriculum.

Note: Enrolment into the full-time or part-time study is conditional on the study patterns being followed. Any variation to these patterns must be approved BEFORE enrolment by the respective Faculty of Education Program Director.

Additional admission requirements

All applicants will be required to attend a Course Advice and Suitability for the Profession Interview (CASPI) at which their suitability for the teaching profession will be assessed. Applicants are expected to attend the interview date and time offered to them.
