About this course

This one-day course is designed to help you develop the skills necessary to operate within a confined space such as inside pipes, sewers and storage tanks safely and effectively.

You'll gain training in:

  • practical entry into a confined space
  • identifying confined space hazards
  • working safely within a confined space according to permits
  • operation of safety equipment within a confined space
  • safety and emergency procedures.

This course provides practical training either on a live worksite or in a simulated environment on campus using purpose-built facilities.
