About this scholarship

Overview

Each year the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics (RSFAS) within the ANU College of Business and Economics may award up to four scholarships each year to the top commencing students in the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Actuarial Studies and Economics degree to assist with travel expenses.

Eligibility

The Scholarship shall be available to:

  • Students granted admission into the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Actuarial Studies and Economics degree via ANU.
  • Domestic or International students;

Benefits

The Scholarship is valued at $10,000. The Award is payable in two instalments, to be paid following the Census Date of each semester in the scholars first year of study.

Please note: The Scholarship does not cover any necessary admissions and deposit fees, the payment of reading and study materials, living expenses, accommodation or any other costs associated with studying.

How to apply

There is no separate application for this scholarship. All students admitted to the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Actuarial Studies and Economics degree will be automatically considered for the Scholarship.
