To be successful in this course you need a Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12) Certificate or have relevant work or other practical experience. You may be asked to attend an interview to demonstrate appropriate design aptitude and understanding with a portfolio in an art and design area.
If you are from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, and are using English as a second language (both oral and written), you must have English skills equivalent to IELTS 6.

Entry Requirements
You must - have a Year 10 Certificate (or equivalent) OR be Mature Age (turn at least 20 in first year of study) - AND have workplace written and oral communication skills (early in the course your skills will be checked - if you cannot read and write documents to the level needed, you will be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the course).
