If you wish to pursue a career as a psychologist, this course offers you a foundation in psychology by allowing you to undertake an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited degree online, on campus, or via a combination of both.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of:
a recognised bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification; and
Successful completion of first year CDU psychology units PSY140/PSY150 Introduction to Psychology A and PSY141/PSY151 Introduction to Psychology B; or equivalent units undertaken at another institution as part of an APAC accredited degree.
Applicants who have undertaken equivalent units other than CDU must attach their unit outlines to their application for assessment.
Students who have completed an APAC accredited degree are not eligible for entry.
In the Bachelor of Psychological Science, you will develop an integrated understanding of human behaviour including social-cultural perspectives, motivations, health and psychopathology as well as the fundamental premise of psychology as an empirically based science.

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:
Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.
Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.

Successful completion of the following:
an APAC accredited three-year undergraduate psychology sequence or the CDU Bachelor of Psychological Science degree; and
a GPA of at least 5.0; and
credit in units equivalent to PSY247/PSY248 Research Design and Analysis and PSY347/PSY337 Advanced Research Design and Analysis. If you undertook equivalent units at an institution other than CDU, you will be required to attach your unit outlines to your application.
Applicants who have completed CDU's WPSYG1 Bachelor of Psychological Science (Graduate Entry) plus a three-year bachelor degree are also eligible for entry.
Alternative assessment provisions are available for First Nations Australians who have completed an APAC accredited three-year undergraduate sequence in Psychology.

Entry Requirements
Successful completion of an APAC accredited four-year sequence in Psychology with either
a minimum upper second class Honours (2A) or
Graduate Diploma in Psychology with a minimum GPA of 6.00.

a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and cover letter addressing why you are interested in the CDU Course; to be uploaded to your application at the time of submission.
