Graduate Certificate

The Graduate Certificate in Philosophy (Healthcare Ethics) will introduce students to a range of ethical issues touching directly on the provision of healthcare services. It is designed for people with leadership and educational roles in health and aged care.
Entry Requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Philosophy (Healthcare Ethics), an applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline and be either:

  1. a graduate with up to three years' professional experience in business or health care (eg doctors, nurse managers, nurses, mission directors, health care administrators, psychologists, counsellors, social workers, members of ethics committees); or
  2. a healthcare professional with five or more years relevant experience; or
  3. a senior healthcare professional nominated by his or her employer to undertake the course.
