The Graduate Certificate of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control offers an introduction to core concepts and skills in infectious disease prevention and control. This includes epidemiology, statistical research methods and quantitative analysis of health data.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, master's degree or equivalent international qualification. Registered nurses who are graduates of a hospital-based program are also eligible for entry.
The Bachelor of Health Science Honours is an additional year of undergraduate study which will provide you with the opportunity to build on your knowledge and gain specialised skills in your area of interest.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification in a health science-related area with at least a credit average (GPA of 5.00).
Consideration will also be given to applicants who are below a GPA of 5.00 who can demonstrate a suitable level of technical skills.
The Graduate Certificate of Epidemiology offers an introduction to core concepts and skills in epidemiology, statistical research methods and quantitative analysis of health data aimed at prevention, protection and promotion of health in the community.
