Entry Requirements
You must: - have access to a workplace for completion of assessable tasks AND - you may need to demonstrate appropriate reading, writing and oral communication skills by undertaking a literacy assessment (ASCF level 3).
You may be required to undertake additional Foundation Skills subjects to support your learning and success in this course.
This course will provide the skills and knowledge to recognise workplace health and safety risks and hazards appropriate, when working with crystalline silica containing products.
Entry Requirements
All participants require a basic level of language, literacy and numeracy skills in order to be able to read documents relating to the proper fitting of machinery attachments and personal protective equipment (PPE) and the identification of common silica containing materials from specification information.
