In response to COVID-19, the University of Sydney has reviewed the availability of courses to be delivered remotely. This course will be available for students to study remotely during 2022 if they are unable to undertake face-to-face study.
Entry Requirements
Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Cultural Studies requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney with a minimum 60% average calculated over the whole degree, including a major in a relevant subject area in the humanities or social sciences, or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Cultural Studies with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification.
The Pathways Enabling Course is a program of study for students with limited or no educational background for admission to an undergraduate course at UNE.
Entry Requirements
1. Admission to the Pathways Enabling Course will be open to candidates who are not admissible to a course and who intend to seek admission to an undergraduate course; or
2. Candidates:
(a) who have not successfully completed a course leading to an award of the University; and
(b) who state that completion of this Enabling Course will make them better prepared to undertake an undergraduate course; and
(c) who intend to seek admission to an undergraduate course.
Your student or child is one of a select few who may be able to undertake a university unit that supplements their HSC education, and provides advanced standing into a university course of their choice.

To be eligible students need to:
* have completed at least one Board of Studies accredited subject (that is acceptable for an ATAR) at HSC Stage 6 before the start of year 12; and
* have been recommended by their School Principal.
The Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Trauma and Recovery Practice will respond to issues that have particular relevance in Indigenous communities in Australia. It will provide specific skills so that graduates can work from a trauma informed approach.
TRACKS is a tertiary preparation program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who would like to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake undergraduate studies at UNE.

Admission to the TRACKS tertiary preparation program will be open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates:
(a) who are not admissible to a course and who intend to seek admission to an undergraduate course; or
(b) who state that completion of this enabling course will make them better qualified to undertake an undergraduate degree and who intend to seek admission to an undergraduate degree; or
(c) who have unsuccessfully attempted an undergraduate course previously and who state that completion of this enabling course will make them better qualified to undertake an undergraduate course.
The Master of Urban and Cultural Heritage is a unique cross-disciplinary and industry-oriented program for students who are passionate about the social and cultural dimensions of the built environment in the 21st century.
Gain a contextual understanding of core historical and theoretical developments in museum and heritage studies. Learn the frameworks for managing collections and sites and develop a practical understanding of the modes of interpretation used in the museum and heritage sector.

a bachelor's degree with a major in one of Anthropology, Archaeology, Art History, Cultural Geography, Cultural Studies, Education, English, Gender Studies, History, Indigenous Studies or another major with an equivalent skills and knowledge base; and a minimum 60% average calculated over the whole degree, from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the Graduate Certificate in Museum and Heritage Studies with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification.

The program delivers a broad knowledge of the linguistic features of Indigenous Australian languages as well as covering theories of language acquisition and learning. You do not need to be fluent in an Indigenous Australian language to enter the program.

The course is open to Indigenous Australians only.
Applicants for admission to the Master of Indigenous Languages Education must hold:
a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; or
a Bachelor's degree and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Sydney.
at least one year of relevant professional experience in education.
The only Cultural Studies degree on offer in Australia, this program covers diverse topics of popular culture, media, gender, sexuality, globalisation and consumer culture. Using real-world examples, you will learn to analyse cultural forms and debate their significance in context.
