Graduate Certificate
As a methodology, Building Information Modelling (BIM) makes a significant contribution to the efficient design, construction and use of buildings. It's used by individuals, businesses and government agencies who plan, design, construct, operate and maintain diverse physical structures.
This programme is a perfect professional development opportunity for anyone with a degree (or degree-equivalent qualification) in construction management, quantity surveying, architecture, civil engineering or facilities management.
It's been developed in response to industry demand for BIM-qualified team members. It provides a broad understanding of Building Information Modelling and is delivered part-time, with courses available in the evening to accommodate employment commitments.
NB: Recognition of prior learning may be available if your experience aligns to the course structure. The programme can be studied full-time, or part-time over two years.
As a graduate of this programme, you could obtain roles such as BIM co-ordinator or BIM manager, and you'll be able to contribute to industries with the capabilities to support BIM environments.
