This programme focuses on developing skills that enable you to use Te Reo at home, in the workplace, on the marae and in various other contexts.
You'll establish strategies to understand increasingly complex language patterns and develop your ability to engage and speak with growing confidence in Te Reo. You'll develop your language skills through face-to-face interactive classes, online resources and activities, live-in wananga (language workshops) and possibly haerenga (trips) to local landmarks.
Live-in wananga provide opportunities to use Te Reo in authentic, culturally rich settings and to practice fulfilling a range of roles in various, safe, simulated contexts. These events also help bring you into a language community to further develop your opportunities for language.
Part-time, 1 year.
