Overview
The Science PhB(Hons) Relocation Scholarship is offered for one year only to assist new first year PhB(Hons) Science students in relocation costs to support their moving to Canberra. This scholarship is not available to students who reside in the ACT region prior to commencement of their PhB(Hons) studies. Funded by the Joint Colleges of Science, scholarship funding is provided in two instalments throughout the year.
Eligibility
Selection is based primarily on academic merit and financial need, however personal statements and references provided in the PhB(Hons) Application are also taken into account. Available to domestic and international students. An ATAR of 99 or higher is required. Students receiving an alternative ANU Academic Scholarship (e.g. NUS or NMS) are not eligible for this Relocation Scholarship.
How to apply
All students admitted to the PhB(Hons) program in Science will be automatically considered. Applicants can provide an expression of interest addressing the selection criteria of merit and financial need (including remote location). Deadline is the commencement of the Academic Program (semester 1 or semester 2), however scholarship offers will commence from the release of year 12 results.
