About this course

There is no better place to study film and television than Queensland's Gold Coast. Home to the largest studio lot in the southern hemisphere at the Village Roadshow Studios, the whole region is a blockbuster hot spot, producing films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, San Andreas, The Chronicles of Narnia, Thor and Aquaman.

Bond's Bachelor of Film and Television program draws on the University's strong connections with the local production industry to provide hands on experience and real-life projects for our film and television students. Gain industry credits and make contacts working on movie sets, television shows, and at broadcast events. You will be taught by the internationally experienced producers, directors, writers, videographers and show runners.

You'll have unrivalled access to the full suite of multimedia and creative industries technologies. With more than 40 editing stations available, throughout your studies you will have access to Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, Pro-Tools 5.1 HD mixing suites, including a fully equipped three-camera digital television studio. Gain access to Bond's equipment loan store that gives you the opportunity to use industry standard lighting, camera, and sound equipment for your own film projects.

Within this hands-on, dynamic, creative, and collaborative program, you will be encouraged to explore your own individual creativity and find your artistic voice.
