About this course

Whether you're looking for a pathway to an undergraduate degree or contemplating a career change, Bond University College's diploma programs are the ideal steppingstone to university studies.

To help you manage your transition to study, our flexible program allows you to customise your subject load - starting with one or two subjects part-time and building to full-time as your confidence grows. Alternatively, you can complete the diploma in just eight months studying full-time and start your chosen bachelor's degree at the third semester mark.

Our Diploma of Legal Studies offers a direct pathway into the Bachelor of Laws at Bond, as well as business law, jurisprudence, and a number of double degrees that team law qualifications with studies in business, commerce, international relations and more. It is also an excellent launching pad for careers in business administration, legal administration, law enforcement and government administration.

The program offers an introduction to the Australian legal system, fundamental legal principles, and basic legal skills. You'll examine elements of business and contract law and look at some of the legal and ethical issues confronting Australian society today.

A key benefit to starting your university studies with a diploma is the extra support Bond University College offers from face-to-face teaching time in small group classes to access to one-on-one tutoring, workshops and targeted study help through the Academic Skills Centre.
