Certificate
This course is designed to meet the needs of estimators and schedulers in the building and construction field.
You must have: Literacy and numeracy skills at the appropriate level to work out costings, write estimating reports and fill out complex forms OR have completed a Building and Construction Industry Certificate III (trade certificate).
You should:
- be employed in the construction industry, and
- have access to a worksite for delivery assessment of competencies.
You may be required to attend an interview:
- to present details of your study and work experience
- to clarify your goals and, where appropriate, those of your employer and
- to ensure that this course provides you with an appropriate career pathway.
Before entering a worksite to undertake practical work you must have a Construction Induction Card. If you do not hold a card you can enrol in the Training Program SA-BE24 to achieve the required competency CPCCWHS1001
If you are entering any of these programs as an Apprentice under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Apprentice Network Provider (ANP) prior to enrolment.
