Certificate
Prepare to put your industry expertise to work and become a qualified professional trainer and assessor when you study this practical, engaging and theoretical course. The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has national recognition and is essential to qualify you to deliver nationally accredited vocational training in registered training organisations (RTOs) as well as in secondary schools with vocational programs.
Successful completion of this course will also equip you with the skills and knowledge to effectively plan, design, deliver and assess programs in line with vocational education and training (VET) frameworks, legislation and standards.
This Qualification has been superseded by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment and will change in Semester 2, 2024. This may result in changes to the program structure, duration, content and fees. You will be contacted if you need to transition into the next version when it is available.
You must have vocational competency in your industry/field in which you can train and assess others, and access to a real or simulated work environment to demonstrate training and assessment competency.
Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
