Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, it is assumed that you have:
- Completed the Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking, or other relevant qualification; or
- Demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments using IT networking technologies, specifically:
- The ability to pass CCNA Routing and Switching - Introduction to Networks (TCP/IP model, OSI model, basic router configuration and IP addressing including VLSM);
- Working with the intermediate functions of the current version of Windows Server such as DHCP, DNS, NPS, VPN and IPSec.
