About this course

By completing this Statement of Participation you will be introduced to architecture, structure, functions, components and models of the Internet and other computer networks using the OSI and TCP layered models to examine the nature and roles of protocols and services at the application network.

You will receive a comprehensive coverage of networking topics, ranging from fundamentals to advanced applications and services.

You will demonstrate the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize network threats and vulnerabilities, and mitigate security threats. You will learn how to plan, configure, and verify the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions. At various stages of the CISCO, CCNA and CCNP programs, you will be prepared to take the relevant CISCO certification exam.
