Entry requirements

Age:15 years or over
CIT holds interviews prior to the commencement of study to discuss:
- previous experience - recognition of prior learning
- support services for language, literacy and numeracy
- roles and responsibilities of all parties

To study any course at CIT (excluding degrees and non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

You will gain the skills and knowledge required to work in operational roles, in the construction industry; where you are required to work safely at heights, work in confined spaces and operate elevated work platforms (including scissor lifts) up to 11m. Upon completion, you will have the skills required for Fire Awareness and Fire Safety response. You will also achieve a recognised First Aid Certification. You will have a competency card to Work Safe at Heights, Elevated Work Platform (up to 11m) and to Enter and Work in a Confined Space.
