Get your start in the construction industry

This qualification is suited for those interested in the building and construction industry. You will learn essential work health and safety, communication skills, work planning, the industrial and work organisation structure and how to use basic tools and materials. This qualification is aimed at VET in Schools program or for those who have no previous experience within the construction industry or no relevant employment history.

There are no specific job outcomes to this qualification, but the skills achieved will assist in successfully undertaking a Certificate II pre-vocational program or job outcome qualification, or will facilitate entry into an Australian Apprenticeship.
