.Automotive technicians work on the mechanical parts of motor vehicles, including the engine, transmission and suspension systems.

There may be competitive entry to this course. For successful completion of this course, you will be required to complete a work placement component.

Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become an apprentice in the automotive industry, but you need to be registered with the The Apprenticeship Office and employed.
