This pre-apprenticeship will give you the job-ready skills that employers are looking for, and could give you a head start to get into a commercial cookery apprenticeship to work in restaurants, hotels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes, and coffee shops; or even in aged care facilities, hospitals, prisons, and schools.
.You'll get a great introduction to how a commercial kitchen operates, and learn how to prepare dishes to commercial standard.
You'll gain skills in using food prep equipment, food hygiene, perishable stock control, kitchen safety and communication.
