In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a boom-type elevating work platform (EWP) where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more.

Hazard and risk control
Setting up and operating a EWP
Conducting routine checks of equipment
Shutting down and securing the equipment
Entry requirements
WorkSafe requires the student must be 18 years of age to obtain a High-Risk Licence.
Students are expected to have basic English reading, writing and numeracy skills to complete the National Assessment Instrument (NAI) - the mandated assessment.
It is expected that students will be able to communicate in English without assistance from another person (including a translator).
Students must be prepared to undertake the written and practical tests under specific test conditions (e.g. closed book, stipulated time frame).
Pre-Workshop reading and Questions must be answered prior to attending the training.
