This course is designed to meet the needs of Northern Territory (NT) residents for the purpose of applying for a 1080 Pest Animal Management Authorisation (PAMA) and will include training on wet bait injection (previously separate training course).

Entry requirements

To gain entry into VTP421 Apply Poison Baits for Vertebrate Pest Control in Rural and Environmental Landscapes, candidates require:

  • Current level 3 chemical user accreditation (i.e. AusChem, SMARTtrain)
  • Literacy and numeracy skills suitable for completing forms and calculating dose rates.
