This course is appropriate for a person who is looking for a career in the Fitness Industry as an Aqua Instructor / Aqua Trainer. Content areas covered include everything from circuit classes, interval training, deep water, shallow water, water familiarisation, buoyancy and mobility skills using drills, activities and games and heaps more. You are sure to walk away with an awesome bank of variations in aquatically designed exercise programs to incorporate in your classes and teach, train, educate and motivate your participants with. Students will also learn to evaluate aquatic emergencies and respond appropriately with basic water rescues that incorporate CPR.
Aquatic exercise provides one of the most effective forms of resistance training available with stresses placed upon muscles through a full range of motion as you move through the water. Teaching aqua opens up your clientele base to a huge variety of people and includes elderly, pre-natal, rehabilitation, sporting athletes and teams and that's just a few!
To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.
