Assessment of these courses must be undertaken within a licensing examination conducted by, or under the authority of, the relevant state/territory Road Traffic Authority or a Registered MVR Training Organisation.

Entry requirements

To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need support to help you achieve your goals.

To gain entry into VTP496 Heavy Vehicle Driving Skills, candidates require:

  • a current Northern Territory class C drivers licence (NT MVR cannot upgrade/issue interstate licences, some states may accept our assessment for upgrading, check with relevant state MVR)
