This workshop applies to workers who use non-specialist skills to perform basic servicing and repairs on a range of machinery according to scheduled maintenance programs. The course covers the following areas:
To gain entry into VTP462 Maintenance, candidates are required to be aged 16 years or above.
To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

To achieve the vocational training program VTP462 Maintenance a total of two (2) units of competency must be completed as listed below.
Further training pathways from this qualification include but are not limited to AHC21216 Certificate II in Rural Operations, AHC20116 Certificate II in Agriculture.
Possible occupations relevant to this qualification include:
* Assistant animal attendant/stockperson
* Assistant laborer/construction industry
