This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to undertake a minor project or a section of a larger project. It covers developing a project plan, administering and monitoring the project, finalising the project and reviewing the project to identify lessons learned for application to future projects.
The unit applies to individuals who play a significant role in ensuring a project meets timelines, quality standards, budgetary limits and other requirements set for the project.
Whilst there are no formal entry requirements, on entry to the unit, students will be assessed for suitability for the unit through a pre enrolment interview with the lecturer. Students complete a language, literacy, and numeracy quiz (LLN Robot) before entering the program. This quiz is used to establish:
An assessment of the individual student needs will be undertaken. The assessment will ensure each student is capable of undertaking training and assessment from home or with limited face to face. To achieve the vocational training program VTP375 - Project Administration a total of one (1) unit of competency must be completed as listed below.
