This program is designed for people wishing to locate and rectify faults in electrical equipment after disconnecting the equipment from low voltage (1,000 Vac or 1,500 Vdc) installation wiring. This work may be incidental to or a primary and regular function in the workplace.
Students will be developing skills in working safely, selecting and using test and measuring devices, identifying supply arrangements, following isolation and correct disconnection procedures, locating and rectifying faults, following reconnection procedures, terminating and connecting cables and conductors, safety testing and reporting.

To achieve the vocational training program VTP360 Restricted Electrical a total of five (5) units of competency must be completed as listed below.Students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion.
