This course will provide introductory training that develops employability skills and enables you to learn more about an industry before embarking on further education or employment. This course provides the skills people are entering retail for the first time must know. Covering both employability skills and practical, hands-on skills to ensure students are job-ready.
There are no formal entry requirements for these units. However, students will need to demonstrate an appropriate level of language, literacy, and numeracy skills to undertake this course.
To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.
To achieve the vocational training program VTP380 - Retail Assistant a total of three (3) units of competency must be completed as listed below.Students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion.
