About this course

This two-day short course covers:

  • Plan, prepare for and work safely in isolated and remote situations.
  • Safely drive a 4WD on unsealed, uneven and difficult terrain including sand, mud and water.
  • Basic 4WD maintenance and general vehicle safety.

This course applies to individuals who work under broad direction and take responsibility for their own work. Students will learn how to use discretion and judgement in the selection, allocation and use of available resources and for solving problems.
