The Diploma of Crime and Justice Studies is the ideal course to provide you with the skills and knowledge to launch your career in a range of justice and/or law enforcement fields. The course will provide you with a thorough understanding in justice-related areas including reading and interpreting legislation, social justice, crime and punishment, ethics in the public sector, interviewing, evidence law and investigation.

This course has moved into a transition period. All students currently studying this course must complete their study by August 2023. The last date of enrolment for new students is 30.September 2021.

This is a nationally recognised accredited course.

Entry requirements

Completion of the bksb (Basic Key Skills Builder) online literacy and numeracy assessment prior to enrolment, unless the student has completed an equal or higher level course.


There are no entry requirements, however, it is beneficial for those seeking entry into the Diploma satisfy at least one of the below: * successful completion of a Certificate IV in Crime and Justice Studies; or * successful completion of a Certificate IV qualification; or * completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a sound achievement in English; or * relevant work or life experience in the business or justice fields.
