Outline Outline

Study accounting practice, business law, auditing, taxation and financial management. In this double major you'll gain a broad understanding of the structure and operations of financial markets in Australia. You'll learn about accounting principles, investment evaluation, and how to fund activities.

In the Accounting major you will have a sound foundation in accounting, auditing, taxation and relevant areas of business law and financial management, and be able to apply to knowledge across a range of accounting contexts.

The Finance major gives you a broad understanding of the structure and operations of financial markets. You'll learn about investment evaluation and how to make decisions on funding activities and disbursement of profits. You'll also examine the role of financial markets.

This double major sits within the Bachelor of Commerce degree. To apply for this major, you will apply for the Bachelor of Commerce.
