This major is designed to provide knowledge and skills to those either wishing to become Supply Chain professionals or those seeking to increase their knowledge in the management and practice of operations in a global business environment. Areas of study include logistics, operations, and supply chain management; transportation and physical distribution; procurement; production; warehousing and inventory; ethical, responsible, and sustainable approaches to SCM; and the role of 21st-century information digitalisation and technology in facilitating supply chain management. The major will meet the needs of those professionals with technical and supervisory skills in logistics and supply chain management and allied fields.
