The Climate Change Science Minor will introduce the science behind climate change and the environmental challenges arising from it as well as look at solutions to address the impacts of the change.

This minor will give students an understanding of analytical and forensic problems and how chemistry is applied to solve them. You'll also develop effective problem-solving and decision-making skills within the ethical and professional context of analytical and forensic science.

The Optimisation Minor is designed to provide students with the necessary skills in mathematics and the ability to apply them to problems arising in business and industry.

The Food Science Minor focuses on the chemical composition of foods, the ingredient interactions under different processing conditions to develop new food products. Students may also undertake a work placement with an external organisation to gain hands on experience.

The Acute Care Nursing specialisation is available to study as a graduate certificate and as part of the Master of Advanced Practice.

The Diabetes Studies specialisation is available to study as a graduate certificate and as part of the Master of Advanced Practice. It is designed for registered nurses, midwives and paramedics who have a professional or career interest in diabetics healthcare and education.

In this course, you'll develop a strong understanding of human sexuality. It is ideal for students who have a health or education background and who want to expand their skill sets to challenge shame, stigma and discrimination relating to sexual health.
