The Advanced Specialty Practice specialisation is available to study as a graduate certificate and as part of the Master of Advanced Practice.

In this course, you will gain a thorough grounding in theoretical geology -with emphasis on mineral, energy and groundwater resources and their environmental management - as well as the sustainable supply of resources for the decarbonising industry.

Western Australians live in a biodiversity hotspot. This minor introduces you to the flora and fauna of Western Australia and the skills to survey and identify biological species.

Extractive Metallurgy is the process of recovering valuable elements from complex feeds through a combination of physical and chemical processes.

The Mining minor is designed for students who do not have experience/knowledge in the Mining discipline, wishing to embark on a journey to obtain additional skills and knowledge relating to the mining industry and in particular, become familiar with the mining methods.

This Undergraduate Certificate in Design is designed for people who are interested in pursuing a career in Design. The Undergraduate Certificate may enable entry (and credit for the four units completed) into the Bachelor of Design among others at Curtin.

The Climate Change Science Minor will introduce the science behind climate change and the environmental challenges arising from it as well as look at solutions to address the impacts of the change.
