In this degree, you'll study a wide range of subjects across humanities, media and social sciences. But you'll also learn the skills you need to succeed in the workplace, whether it's as a reporter covering natural disasters, managing social policy in the public and private sector, or curating exhibits in a museum, with a Bachelor of Arts at Federation you'll have a breadth of opportunity.

For students enrolling in the Bachelor of Arts course for 2023, you will have a unique opportunity to co-create the final year of the course with industry and employers as part of our cooperative education model that will provide students with a head start on a successful career and regional employers with graduates primed for the workplace.

The BA course includes a substantial core study of cultures and contemporary societies, with a focus on developing transferable skills for life and work.

When you graduate, you're not limited to working in specialised areas. You could work across tourism marketing, curating museum collections or youth engagement programs, or in many other fields. You may go on to study education and teach your skills to others.
