Bachelor of Biomedical Science

The lectures and course content in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science have been really interesting, with lots of support from academics. A highlight has been studying the Chemical Detectives unit. We used techniques called carbon and hydrogen NMR, IR and UV spectra to identify organic molecules. These techniques are used when creating new medicines and chemicals.I feel this degree gives me the fundamental knowledge and skills to work as a scientist and opens the door for me to pursue further studies in a specialised field.
