About this course

You're a natural with numbers and right into crunching the sums for governments, companies or your own business.  You're perfect for our Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree if you're interested in the business world and the financial strategies and systems behind it. Whether you see yourself working for the government, a company or even your own business, this degree will teach you the ins and outs of the systems and financial strategies that make the business world tick.  Chances are, you'll be offered work directly from your placement, like many of our graduates. You might end up as an accountant, stockbroker, a financial planner or a banker. With a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) you will study accounting, law and economics and finance as part of your commence degree, and can choose from subjects like taxation law, auditing and financial planning to specialise your skills in accounting. When you graduate from our degree, you can then go on to gain professional accounting accreditation. Double majors and specialisations are available in Law, Business & Economics and Finance. This program may require participation in a range of WIL/work experience type activities and these will negotiated with students individually. The time component is variable.
