About this course

Become a skilled clinical psychologist and help people work through difficult times. Our course combines coursework, clinical practice and research to prepare you for registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Your knowledge of clinical problems in childhood, adolescence and adulthood will become advanced, as well your understanding of evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions and the ethics related to your work. You'll benefit from our strong industry partnerships, which will see you in the field for at least 1000 hours during your studies, including in regional, rural or remote settings. You gain real experience working within our FedUni Community Psychology Services.

Our course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

FedUni is committed to increasing the number of psychologists who work in regional, rural, and remote areas of Australia, and to increasing the number of psychologists who are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons. The application and selection process is consistent with that commitment.
