The VCE Vocational Major (VM) is a vocational and applied learning course within the VCE designed to be completed over a minimum of two years. Federation College gives students the opportunity to complete their VCE in a non-traditional learning environment. While providing the choice to pursue their strengths, interests and develop the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in further education, work and life. It prepares students to move into apprenticeships, traineeships, further education and training, university (via non-ATAR pathways) or directly into the workforce.
Completion of courses will help students gain employment, including Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships or progress to further study.
If what you have learned at work, from other courses, units, from life experience or training provided at work is relevant to this course, you may be entitled to gain unit credits or exemptions. The University is obliged to recognise the AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other registered training organisations.
